Lions from Many Lands, 2010

Fifth grade students from Beechwood Elementary, a school with many recent immigrant families in Pittsburgh, learned about documentary films, issues of immigration, video production, interviewing strategies, and editing to make a 14 minute video. I worked with 50 students investigating how immigration impacts the school community.
